1936 Gibson L-4

Good condition, 6/10, very worn finish, non
original modern plastic case, good neck angle and
action, filled holes in the top from a removed
pickup, one inlay missing and 3 other replaced
inlays in the fingerboard (plastic material), the
stringholderpart of the tailpiece is replaced and
the tailpiece is not of the style that this model
should have, homemade black pickguard in the case,
from online: A Pre-War example of the L-4 that was
produced in a very brief window of time, this
guitar features a solid hand-carved and
bookmatched spruce top paired with solid maple
back and sides and a Brazilian rosewood
fingerboard capping a one-piece mahogany neck with
a deep V profile carve.Structurally identical to
the original iteration of the L-5 which Gibson
discontinued in 36, the L-4 boasts the same
tonewoods, bracing, 16 lower bout width and 24
3/4 scale. In fact, the L-4 s floral inlay is
actually more upscale than the simple block inlay
on the L-5s which preceded it.
