| Condition & Case abbreviation key |
We have noticed that there can be great variations on how different individuals would describe the condition of the same instrument. We try very hard not to overgrade our instruments and we have seen many examples of instruments being described as EX+ that we would call VG+. Recently we have also seen some dealers using the term "Vintage Mint" on VG+ instruments.
Condition key
| NM | (Near Mint) | Slightest amount of use. It's very rare to find a vintage guitar this clean. |
| EX+ | (Excellent Plus) | A little better than Excellent but not quite Near Mint. |
| EX | (Excellent) | Shows light playing wear but basically well cared for and clean. |
| VG+ | (Very Good Plus) | Normal playing wear but not abused. Most vintage guitars will fit this description. |
| VG | (Very Good) | Heavily worn but still a good playing instrument. |
