Specifications: Cutaway. Body width: 420 mm. Body length: 510 mm. Hand carved top & back. Romanian spruce top. Mahogany or walnut back & sides. 4-ply bound top with double-bound f-holes. 4-ply bound back. Triple-bound pickguard. Mahogany neck with non-adjustable T-shaped duraluminum truss rod. Triple-bound headstock with perloid music sharp sign inlay. Single-bound ebony fingerboard with perloid block inlay. Grover Sta-Tite style tuners. Gold plated hardware. Sunburst (3) or natural (3N) finish. Ten year warranty. Also available with a Wingtone pickup (1950 Levin catalog). Electro Wingtone pickup (shown here with a Model 2 Solist pickguard). Also available as 8-string Mando-Cello (xxxxxx) - (ca 1947 - ca 1951) - (at least one made, probably on custom order). Introduced: ca November 1947 as a replacement for Royal.
