| James L. "Jimmy" D'Aquisto arrived in Sweden in |
| 1967 to show the factory workers at Bjärton |
| how to build the archtop guitar he had designed |
| for Hagström. Reportedly, ten examples were |
| built under his supervision, of which not all were |
| completed. Some unfinished bodies and necks were |
| sold as parts decades later. |
